The South Korean ambassador stated: “Iran has the largest market in the Middle East and South Korea has a lot of experience on cooperatives. Cooperation can deepen and strengthen the roots of economic interactions between both countries. I look forward to using each other’s knowledge and experience to create a new sector for fair development.”
Mr.Ryu Jeong hyun, the Korean ambassador to Tehran, referred to the long history of cooperation between both countries in various fields in joint seminar on Iranian and South Korean cooperatives and stated:” The Embassy tries to introduce the potential of Iranian companies to Korean companies in order to increase the cooperation of both countries in the field of economy.
Furthermore, the Embassy holds a ceremony every year in order to support active companies in the field of joint venture.”
He continued: ” The Embassy participated in the first joint seminar of the cooperatives of both countries last year and it is an honor for us to participate in this conference this year . The cooperatives are an inseparable part of the economy of both countries, and in Iran cooperatives have great potential for creating added value and employment in macro policies of both countries. This joint seminar can be considered as a place in order to share our experiences and success.
He added: “I would like to appreciate Mr. Abdollahi, the president of Iran Chamber of Cooperatives for creating such an opportunity and also Dr.Choi, the research director of National Agricultural Cooperation Federation of South Korea

He referred to the position of cooperative in the economy and said: “The cooperative creates employment, provides different services and plays an important role in the development of society. It would be mentioned, the humanitarian economy is based on cooperation and coexistence and follows development and public benefit, so this economy is the birthplace of high quality works and infrastructure of development.”
He continued :”The humanitarian economy is the solution to injustice around the world. The Korean government is going to develop this economy model which leads to public values and tries for developing cooperatives and social companies in this regard.
Furthermore , the Iranian government can strengthen active cooperatives in the field of industry and create a new platform and capacity for cooperatives in Iran
under the leadership of Mr. Abdollahi, the president of Iran Chamber of Cooperatives.”
He stated: “When small and medium cooperatives work together to build capacity, they will eventually achieve the development of cooperative.
Today’s seminar can play an important role in transferring information and experiences between both countries.
