Coordination meeting among Iranian members of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) with the presence of representatives of member organizations including Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC), Central Organization for Rural Cooperatives of Iran (CORC) , Tose’e Ta’avon Bank, Central Union of Rural and Agricultural Cooperatives of Iran (CURACI), Central Union of Rural Production Cooperatives of Iran , Iran Oilseeds and Vegetables Oil Processing Factories Cooperative Co., Ta’avon Insurance Company, Pishgaman Cooperative Group and Rah-e Roshd Cooperative, was held at Iran Chamber of Cooperatives with full observance of health protocols.
At this meeting, Dr.Zeighami, Deputy of Economy and International Affairs of ICC , described about ICA functions and its upcoming plans and the importance of planning and active participation of members in those events were emphasized.
In the following, International Affairs Manager presented a detailed report on the activities of ICC in engagement with ICA and participation in the meetings of the Board of Directors of ICA-AP in 2020 to other members.
The upcoming ICA events, and specially the issue of holding the Congress and the ICA-AP elections in December 2021 was pointed out and In the following ,other members discussed about how to participate in ICA events as well as using the ICA capabilities.

In this regard, International Affairs Manager of ICC stressed the importance of using Iranian ICA members of the significant potential of International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) in areas such as international networking, utilizing knowledge and experience of successful cooperatives around the world, attending specialized committees of ICA , utilizing the specialized content of ICA, participation in the events and workshops and similar issues.
