The Specialized meeting on Investigating business opportunities of Iran and Armenia was held at Iran Chamber of Cooperatives with the presence of the ambassador of Armenia and economic activists of both countries.
New opportunities for developing economic relations of Iran and Armenia and free trade opportunities between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union, exchange of information and familiarity of traders, economic activists and producers of the cooperative sector with the needs of Armenia market , marketing of goods and services, familiarity with consumers’ tastes of target market at the specialized session of business opportunities between Iran and Armenia were discussed.
At the meeting, Mohammad Ali Zeyghami, Deputy of Economic and International Affairs of ICC , noted that the main goal of this meeting was to introduce investment opportunities between both countries and said :” Armenia is also one of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and due to its neighborhood with Iran, the priority of attention and focus of economic activists is doubled.”
He continued :” we need to cooperate with the neighboring countries in the process of business development , especially Armenia .”
He emphasized the importance of banking and financial platforms of both countries and said :” Joint ventures or joint production can be considered for development and export of goods of both countries.”
In this meeting , the capabilities and capacities of Armenia were introduced to economic activists and the details were described by the ambassador of Armenia.
The ambassador of Armenian said: “Two nations of Iran and Armenia are historic nations and have friendly relations and it is important for Armenia to have relations with Iran.”
Introducing the business opportunities of his country, he acknowledged: “Practical steps should be taken in order to develop the business relationship between Iran and Armenia.”
Following this meeting , the specialized panel was held with the presence of representatives from Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) and Iran-Armenia Joint Chamber of Commerce and the questions of economic activists were answered.
